Woman charged over police death threats in Sydney
A man charged with threatening police with a knife, a gun and an ice cream cone last month has been charged with threatening to kill them.
The incident occurred in Sydney’s North Shore and escalated to police firing warning shots after reports the man appeared to brandish a knife at officers.
The 44-year-old has been charged with making threats by means of words 바카라사이트or conduct.
The man, named locally 더킹카지노as Joseph Mennie, is due to appear in Magistrate’s Court on Sunday, August 8 at a preliminary hearing.
The man’s arrest warrant stated he made the threats on Facebook and posted several of the messages on Twitter and Instagram.
A Facebook post on May 22 warned the man against entering the police station.
Police issued a tweet earlier in the day saying they were investigating a „violent suspect“ who was allegedly throwing a knife at police and also alleged someone was chasing him.

When officers did stop a car outside the station they received reports of a person that looked like Joseph Mennie who had allegedly thrown a weapon at them.
He was later arrested and charged for possession of an assault weapon.
On May 18, the man’s family spoke out about their loved one’s death.
Mrs Mennie told reporters she felt she could only look on in disbelief when she saw police at her daughter’s funeral, despite seeing the man’s face on social media.
„He’s dead, he was in my mind. He looked sick. His heart just stopped. I went back to bed and just kind of slept,“ Mrs Mennie said.
She added her daughter had left her to die and the family had a hard time coping with the tragedy.
Mr Mennie has been charged with threatening a police officer.
