The Cowboys, who have a bye after their Round 1 clash against the Manly Sea Eagles, had an easy day after two tries came from James Hasson’s try and Jordan McLean’s try.
Jordan McLean’s try came from a great angle and was a try scored at a breakaway by Matt Moylan who made it 24-14.
The Cowboys went down 26-6 in the opening term, but were back on level terms in the second quarter when Tim Grant crossed for Nathan Robinson to score at 17-10.
