Pakistan army chief considered coup leaked cables, says Army chief who is still behind bars said the army had been receiving foreign intelligence on the situation of Kashmir. The army chief on Thursday criticised the leaks of cables in which he termed them „unconscionable“.
Army chief Gen Bikram Singh has not commented on the leaked cables and said in any case, he will not be in touch with them.
„If I hear of these emails I will certainly refer them to them and if the matter is brought to my notice that person will be brought to justice,“ the army chief told a press conference here.
„We have to do all we can to secure the safety and security of Army personnel who were in Kashmir during the armed uprising of 1989, and who are now engaged in coun바카라ter insurgency activities on India’s doorstep. It is imperative that we do everything possible to protect them,“ said the Army chief, who was held responsible for the killing of seven soldiers in September 19더킹카지노92 in Jam더킹카지노mu and Kashmir in one of the largest terror incidents in recent times.
He said Kashmir, where the Army has its headquarters, was under threat from terrorism.

The army chief said those responsible for the deaths of the soldiers were not in control of Kashmir and he hoped an inquiry to determine the culprits would be ordered soon.
He said he had ordered a preliminary investigation to determine the blame for the deaths of 7 soldiers and the deaths of two others.
However, the Army chief said he hoped the inquiry would not go beyond that phase.
The Army chief also said the army would not interfere in the internal affairs of any state and his government, as of now, was the only one with no need for interference.
