Karnataka State High Court has quashed order to release Haneef in his mother’s custody from custody of Maharashtra Police. Haneef’s mother is living in Rajkot in Tamil Nadu, while the police lodged a murder case against her parents. Karnataka police filed their writ petition in this case.
